Don't think that the one I suggested will sound worse since it has a built in radio. The mp3 CD player I had sounded excellent. It also had AM/FM radio. I think having AM and FM radio is a great added bonus, especially if the cost isn't any higher. The one you bid on seems to have a very small display. The downside to mp3 CD players is that most just display the folder number and song number, and not folder names or song names.
