I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate the resource that is head-fi.org.
I recently received my first ever set of audiophile in waiting headphones (Sennheiser HD555's), and I must say that listening to music in the computer age has NEVER sounded like this to me. My goodness is it fun listening to my iTunes music with these things on.
Impressions (and remember, this is coming from a complete and total noob to the advanced sound world):
1. Damn, are these things comfortable. I don't know why anyone would want anything other than velour on their headphones after wearing these things.
2. Amazing sound compared to my Altec Lansing 2.1 computer speakers (Duh!)
3. The highs seem particularly fantastic in these headphones
4. The lows seem a bit mushy maybe, but I don't really know what I'm talking about
5. I got them for from a member here, and I honestly feel like the money I spent was probably the best $75 I have ever spent in my life.
6. Thanks again everyone!!!
One happy dude
