Sorry if I posted in the wrong section.
I was searching for a store to buy a SONY mdr-v6.  I went to the Sony store where I found that they don't have the Sony mdr-v6 now.  While I was on my way searching around, I found a store where they sell headphones.  And its cheaper than the actual price.  They have the MDR-v6 for 45$ only.  They said they are OEM, meaning they are constructed by different manufacturer but uses the same original materials by Sony.  So probably they have the same sound quality?  Also, it says on the sides of the headphone, Made in Thailand.

Are OEM headphones good?  Do they produce the same great quality?  Please enlighten me before I buy it.  Of course if it's just the same, I'd go buy it to save 40$.
Please don't tell, "Go buy from Sony store to be sure".  Tell me if OEM sounds different from the actual thing from the Sony store.

It's a fake. Sony counterfeits are extremely common.

Where do you live? It really makes no sense to buy a fake for $40 when Amazon sells the real ones for ~$50.
