was planning on running them out of the bithead but the plug is too big. figurued they were like sr60's where it'd come with the small plug with an adapter for the bigger one. now i need one for the opposite purpose. where to look?

Todd the vinyl junkie, headroom, and other palces all sell 1/4" to 1/8" adapters. You can also go to places like radio shack, and get their barrel type adapter, but I don't like them because it puts too much strain on the mini jack.

Ratshak will do for now, try and get a Grado or Senn adapter, much better on the jack.

alright. while i was anxious to try them out i think i'll just bypass the easy solution (radioshack) and go straight for the grado adapter. thanks guys.

I had one of these radio shack adapters and it nearly shorted out the ring contact to ground. I am very careful with my stuff, and this one just "broke" after ~ a month of careful use. So, definitely inspect it regularly before use.
