I tried Rockbox and found it confusing and I couldn't get a proper theme for the interface. I don't know how to get songs onto the ipod and get the right settings to bring out the best of every song; I want nice heavy bass for bands like a tribe called quest and daft punk as well as crisp/clear instrumentation by bands like Mastodon, the beatles, slipknot, led zeppelin and pearl jam. I can't seem to set different EQ's for each band unlike itunes where I could. I know there is something there for me if I use rockbox but I can't seem to figure out how to use it. I am new to all this and could use some help setting it up.
