It's a sweet thing to have Firefox installed as a Linux user though, where nothing ever crashes

Truthfully, with how it was originally coded for *nix, you should be thankful it even runs.

Firefox has crashed on me a couple of times but despite that, I still use it. It's vastly superior to IE IMO and (on my system anyway) IE has crashed with more frequency than Firefox could ever dream of.

My girlfriend bought a new Accord in `02 and the tranny had to be replaced at less than 4k miles, but I don't hate Hondas or Accords because of that incident. Stuff happens...

BTW, Biggie, I'm assuming that you're running the current version (1.0.6)?

That's another point...although there are a couple of things that I prefer about Firefox that causes me to use it more than Opera, the latter has never ever crashed on me. Ever! Something that I really can't say about any other browser.

Huh. I've only had slight problems with the newest 1.0.6, and it's most likely Win98SE not being cooperative. For major text tasks, what I'll do is make a TXT file with what needs submitted, and simply copy+paste+submit. That way, in case Firefox *would* crash, my info could be transferred before problems could ensue.

The only problem I've had with firefox is that it sometimes doesn't close properly, and it'll using ~50mb of resources even though I've closed all the windows. No random crashes though, not since much earlier versions.
