Depends on the configuration for price. Mine were Zeta-G HP/PS/RS in black w ports at $109.

I suppose that's one way to look at it. I looked at it a different way. I had a $400+ pair of headphones that were never exactly what I wanted and for only $109 more they could be and by choosing the ones I did I ensured that I could use them on any Grados I got in the future (and tune them a bit for each HP if necessary)....

From a pure pricing standpoint, it's been argued many times in past threads, but suffice it to say that the Beyer pads aren't cheap and neither is the quality of Larry's craftsmanship. Best upgrade I've made to my system in a long time (and one of the cheaper ones).

It's $10 extra to get them in black. IIRC the pads themselves were in the $30 range from Beyer.
