I really wonder why did you exclude the Stellia from being able to translate the detailed transients' nuances being produced by the MSC +TT2?

Thanks
I didn't say it can't.
It does it less than my Meze Empyrean, Meze Elite and a listening session I did with Dan Clarck E3.
Stellia can't beat the planar magnetic concept of those.
What appears first is the smaller soundstage, but within that stage Stellia is incredible precise, the fun lies in there.
Stellia also has an elevated midbass imho, offered EQ's tend to bring that down a few db.

Many depends on the total setup and conditions, personal taste/ears...
I won't generalize, just my 2 cents only.

I've the most fun with Empyrean OG with angled pads, even more than Elite actually, EDM mostly though.

I have Empyrean OG, Elite and Stellia too. Your experience is very much like mine, though I keep the original leather pads on the OG for some head thumping bass with EDM :)

I’m a big fan of the RS130 and how it pairs with my Chord gear.

I have it connected via fiber to my Reactcore modded Dave and Choral Mscaler meaning a total optical connection in addition to everything going through a Puritan 156 and Groundmaster. Total and absolute bliss to my ears.
Very nice, did you try other streamers Vs the RS130, if so, how is the RS130 better. Thanks. For your time.

Hello,

What SQ I should expect moving up from TT2+MScaler to Dave+MScaler?

Thank you,
I'll agree with @icnaiwhimor1975's opinion having had the Qutest, TT2 and Dave.

I liked every one the Chord DACs and along the way I became more of a detail and less of a warm, dark, romantic sound guy.
I could easily have lived with any of the 3, but settled on the Dave for the Chord house sound as well as a bit more detail.
With the cost of the Dave, I waited to sell my TT2 but it was apparent from the first few tracks that the Dave was for me.

Thank you,
In my experience you should expect a firmer and more detailed bass and the top end will be more subtle and finer.

Interesting, did you use USB, or SPDIF and did you use Fiber network? A lot of people keep raving about how good it is.
I tried it with SPDIF output to the M Scaler.
Fiber or wired did not make much difference for me.
It sounded inferior to Aurender N200 with all other things equal.
But (luckily for me) my Aurender was bricked during the RAM replacement, so I was able to audition Luxman NT-07.
That was by far the best streamer I’ve ever heard.
I sold Aurender and got that one as soon as I could.

Interesting, a friend of mine has the Luxman, I did hear it recently and it sounded great. Have you tried the Lumin U2?

I had U2 but could not give it a proper listen as its toroidal transformer created extreme hum in my setup.
Luxman is essentially U2 with a different (some say better) power supply.
Its transformer is dead quiet.
But my dealer got a sample of U2 and immediately signed a contract to carry the brand.
In his opinion it is better than Grimm MU1 and Innous Zen NG (both more than twice the price).
He carries all of them but chose to have U2 in his home setup.

Love it, I'm gonna likely go with the U2, it checks off all of my boxes
