So I had a few job interviews with a company that needs me to be the I.T. superman of nearly everything in 8 businesses including a call center.
I've messed around with VoIP for business & fun purposes on a minor scale and know my way around audio codecs..but....
I never did the full blown call center environment. I have a 3rd follow up call worried I'll get some VoIP curve balls thrown at me:
They're buying new Equipment as well
Headphones with mic or stand alone Headphones and clip on mic? Any suggestions on affordable brands/models?
They mentioned problems I assume would be "fixed" by me; Isolation so that the room doesn't sound like a boiler room during a call, comfort, proper clarity, etc. along with keeping the backend running. I was able to stumble through the VoIP discussion but the next guy really knows his stuff.
