how to soften Grado bowl pads ?

Does anyone know how to soften bowl pads ?
i will recieve this week an SR325i

and i know that bowls are pretty unconfortable.
Flat pads can't buy nowhere near me, so exclude that option

Most people recommend washing them in dishwashing soap and warm water. I personally found the pads to be quite bearable and haven't had any problems with them. Natural oil from your skin will also soften them immensely.

Someone said fabric softener. and you could keep working them in with your hands.

EDIT: oh yeah and I don't know exactly how they're uncomfortable but if it's because of the scratchy white filters on the plastic, get some airplane headphones with the really thin foam pads and put those on the grado (fit perfectly) and the bowls over them. That'll give you some padding where the hole is and not alter the sq. The airplane headphones were oval shaped but the pads themselves were circular, stretched over them.
