I recently bought some KSC 50's from someone on another forum for $5. I got them in the mail today, and opened the package by cutting the edge of the envelope with scissors. Well...aparently some of the cord for the headphones was stuck right along that edge, as now I have one one long cord, and two separate earpieces. I want to make a new cord for them, but I cant figure out how to open them without breaking the casing. Any ideas?

Yup, he found it. That's a real good thread.

Basically, take the foamies off first (CAREFULLY) by pulling away from the driver or below it. There are little grips on the drivers holding the foamies in place and if you don't pull them out carefully you will rip the foamies. Then, shove some slim objectin between the largest space between the driver and the housing and push the driver up. It should pop right out of its little clip.

Getting it back in is the fun part.
