I've searched and searched. Maybe I need a tutorial on how to use the search function. Google didn't bring up anything either. Anywho, I started having a rattle in my right ear piece on my MS-1's. I've heard it's common that hairs slip through the screen and I was hoping I could just pop it off and extract the hair but I'm being prudent. Any help is appreciated

You will have to glue it back. Try sucking it (with your mouth) first.

WARNING: to get rid of grattle (= grado-rattle), opening the cups is of NO USE whatsoever!

The hair will be stuck behind the fabric screen and this part is no more accessible after opening the cups.

The best way to get rid of a hair to my experience has been to gently but firmly suck the hair out. Remove the pad, taut your lips (but without covering the entire screen of course) and suck in short bursts. Try sucking from different 'angles'. If this doesn't help, try repeatedly blowing in short bursts (and not so hard that you might damage the driver) and sucking again.

If all that doesn't help, it might be a different problem than a hair ...
