How to make the smell go away?

So... i have a sony mdr v6, and after some use, it stinks like sweat in it. How do i clean and get rid of the smell? Sorry if a thread like this was already up. I swear to god i searched all i can.

Drink more water and your sweat will not leave an offensive smell in your headphones (this also applies to general body odor for the stinkies we have here on head-fi... you know who you are). I recommend an antibacterial wipe to clean the headphone, and also washing your face before use.

I'll give you that...there was one of him with Grados I believe that was just frightening....I've got nightmares just reminiscing about it....

I once had those headphones, and in my case they smelled like cigarettes. I wiped them down three times with alcohol, and let them air out. Later, the dog chomped them, but no big loss as the one and only time I used them I thought I had given myself permanent hearing loss. No Sony headphones ever again! Good thing they only cost me $1.
