Yesterday, while trying to put my AT ad700s away in the closet on a box, the box tipped over and the headphones dropped and scratched against the closet wall and caused paint chips and scuffs. These headphones are brand new, and a day before that, my jvc HA-RX900s dropped on the hard floor from a high bed while I was half sleep and heard it hit loud. I love these headphones very much and I never would drop them. I get all OCD when I see scratches on something that's new. I feel like my money has been wasted somewhat. The RX-900s survived without scratches and it took the most impact, but the slight rubbing against the wall causes some cosmetic damage to my AD700s.

My HD800s have paint chips >.<
It's okay, just remember it doesn't affect the sound

I guess, but I like to see everything mint. My ad700s have paint chips as well after that fall against the wall, and a nice scuff on the double head band thing that looks like a blue/white streak
