No water, alcohol. It evaporates quickly. Either pads or a swab.

Aren't these the $1000.00+ IEMs?

I'd go with the PERM PRESS cycle or the KNITS & DELICATE cycle

I can't help but to wonder if alcohol contributes to yellowing of IEMs. We don't know exactly the long term effects it has on the materials.

Personally, I use contact lens solution on lint free cloth to clean anything I can't imerse into soapy water. I don't even use alcohol on any cabling anymore because I know for a fact that some of my cabling have been damaged by alcohol. I do however use alcohol on electrical contacts, followed by either Caig Pro Gold or nano carbon treatment, which ever I can dig up first.
