Default Mamboman

I sold Mamboman my 60 gig Red wine audio ipod. He had great communication with me. Payed fast and everything went smoothly. Would deal with again.
Thanks Mamboman

I sold Daniel a set of Shure E500's. He was quick to pay and a joy to talk to and deal with. Everything about dealing with Daniel was excellent.

Default Negative Feedback for Mamboman

I absolutely hate to have to give someone bad feedback. But unfortunately, I have no choice in this matter.

Daniel and I agreed upon a price for my Triple.Fi 10 pros. I told him that I have another seller interested who wants to pay slightly less than my asking price but if you want them at my asking price of $325 I will give you first option to buy them. We had a nice long friendly Yahoo chat, and I made the invoice and sent it to him. He claimed he never received it, so I sent it twice. I even told him that if PayPal wasn't going to your e-mail for some reason, you can log into PayPal on your account and the bill will be waiting for you to pay. The invoice obviously got sent to him, he just wanted to back out. This was his e-mail:

"Hi bro,
I have yet to receive your invoice. Are you online? I think I will
have to pass on the TF10Pros as something just cropped up. It was great
chatting with you.

Regards,
Daniel"

By doing what he did, he not only cost me a sale to him, but he cost me a sale to someone else that wanted to buy them. That person no longer wants to buy them at the price he originally offered me, and now if I want to sell them to him I have to go much lower in price. I have sent Daniel an e-mail telling him what he did was not cool at all, but I have gotten no response.

I pride myself on ethical transactions. I always let people know of any fees upfront, as they are all listed in my sale ads, as well as my shipping conditions. I even agreed to do something I don't like to do, which is ship USPS, to save him money! (EDIT: The issue had nothing to do with my price. He thought my price was perfectly fair. It was a personal issue.)

He seemed like a nice and friendly guy in our chats, but I have no choice other than to leave negative feedback for him.

EDIT: He did finally respond and apologize, but that doesn't get me back another buyer. I am still friendly with him, so I gave him the option to do the right thing.

EDIT: I just sold the IEMs to the person who originally wanted them, but had to sell them for $24 less than my original asking price (because of all the back and forth hassle), which Daniel agreed upon. eBay withdrawal usually charges a 20% fee from the seller, so what I am asking for is much less. I gave him the very fair option to make up the difference and pay me the $24 that I lost out on because of his withdrawal. I sold them for $301, Daniel had agreed on $325. He is deciding what he wants to do. In my opinion, negative feedback is not worth $24. I told him if he pays me the difference, I will remove this feedback. I think that is an amicable arrangement for both of us.

To shed more clarity on the matter, I indeed never received his invoices until almost 5 hours later. It could be the email forwarding service or my ISP being slow (as I used an email forwarding service for the past 15 years to maintain the same email account id for all who know me). It could all be circumstances conspiring for me to get the pair of TF10Pros. And I had told him the reason behind it in my Yahoo session. My wife saw my credit card bills from Headfi and gave me hell. Remember the term Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned.
"wtf you can spend $2k in the last 2 months on Headfi and you complained you don't have the spare cash to spend on my $200 shoes and $300 bags?!?"

I offered to IPodPJ that I will pay him for the item in 2 weeks time when I receive my newly subscribed credit cards sent to my office. (I know.. this hobby is worse than a drug addiction!) He said that he is fine with it, I told him that I will pay him the full sum to the cent or even a little extra for the little wait. He said OK.. He agreed that he will not sell himself short, but just a few hours after my IM conversation, he sends me an IM that he has sold it and demands that I pay for the difference when I could well have paid him more for the item. And that he will remove the bad feedback after I were to make up for his "loss" which he wouldn't have made if I still bought from him. I even offered him $10-20 more on top of the earlier agreed sum. I am willing to pay $20 more if I got the item from him, but not just to make up for his haste especially when he says that he is not in dire need of cash. I will not be commenting anymore on this. I have over 100 positive rating on Yahoo both as a buyer and a seller which speaks for itself.

I still have other orders bought which I have paid good money for. But I have told the sellers to hold on to the items. All my past deals have been paid promptly with great understanding between me and the sellers. No fuss at all. That's all I have to say.

I must say that any negative feedback for mamboman should be taken with a grain of salt. He was a great buyer. We chatted for a long time, and he investigates everything he buys. He paid me all the money for everything quickly and promptly without a question. I would never hesitate to deal with him.

Daniel bought my Zu Mobius cable, and it was a perfect transaction. He communicated in a prompt and friendly manner, paid quickly, and was generally great to deal with. I would transact with Daniel again anytime, and would treat negative feedback of Daniel with a high degree of skepticism.

A great international head'fier! Thanks Daniel!

Mamboman (Daniel) is totally honest and reliable to deal with.

He offered to use my paypal account that accepts cash tranfers from buyers without charging either of us any paypal fees. I pay probably one hundred dollars a year in paypal fees, as my Ebay sell transactions run into the thousands. See my Ebay auction under dog wormers - tapeworm meds for $1 a pack - which I sell as a public service rather than for profit.

That saved me the paypal fee which I had been prepared to pay - very thoughtful of David since I dislike giving paypal my money.

He said it would take a few days to transfer the cash, but was willing to wait in order to save me money - again very considerate as he could have paid immediately by credit card instead of cash transfer, and not have to suffer from any delay.

So I packed the headphones and told him I would send off when the post office opened - and get the money later.

However, the money came through very quickly thereafter - justifying my trust in David.

Such honesty, displayed by David, is admirable.
