so i have some earphones which have white cords and are now turning the dreaded yellow....

is there a way to somehow clean these to some extent? what should i use?

gently rub a towel soaked in warm water against the cable

I was wondering about this too..

Warm water and a towel helped remove the dust build up
but not the yellow tinge.

I was hoping someone could answer.

Diluted Chlorine with water is the only thing I know that should be able to get the white off, the problem is that it needs prolonged exposure. I would try in a small area first.
