Pretty cool video. Although at the end the narrator says, "The choice of music will be silent to all but one individual". Aren't the K702's open headphones?

Yes, I think they are open. At the beginning of the video he talks about the holes so as not to reflect the sound back, so they must be open.

Yep, they are. The narrator says that mostly as a broad closing statement about manufacturing headphones in general, not specifically the k702.

Yea I can hear My K701 when I'm downstairs in my kitchen.. they are very open...

It is common for open headphones to be heard from other rooms, but the K701/K702 is like a speaker in this regard. They are really the most open headphones I ever heard.
