how much storage space is on your mp3 player?

I've got an iPod Nano 16GB. I'm not crazy enough to think I can hear a difference on the bus with all of the background noise, so I stick with 256kbps mp3's for the iPod and so far its enough space. I don't plan on upgrading until after it's completely dead anyway.

In other news, 100th post!

32GB on my iPod Touch 4G, but only 7-8gigs used for FLACs, 5-6gigs used for apps, the rest is free space.
I only use this for FLAC files, when I'm out and about. If I wanted to hear for more genres but at a varied quality, I'd use my PC.

FLACPlayer for iPod is seriously annoying when your FLAC collection is more than 4gigs, especially when there's some 24/96 or 24/192 files, it will become ungodly laggy, so for this exact reason I only keep a very small collection on my iPod.

My 160gb Cowon X7 thinks your poll is missing at least one option.

64 gig 3rd gen ipod touch (£180 clearence from hmv thankyouverymuch!).  However with the apps on there that soon dissapears.  Throw in some audiobooks and remaining capacity dwindles away.

My portable music player has no internal storage, only removable! And guess what, its removable media ain't even solid state and maxes out at 1GB.

But it has great sound quality, an all-metal body that inspires class and reliability, no display but an optional wired remote with backlit LCD display, and fits nicely in a vintage leather cigarillo case.

It's an antiquated device called a MiniDisc player.

So from the poll is missing the no storage space option. Old-schoolers with PCDP's might appreciate that one too  .

240GB 1.8" Toshiba drive on an iPod 5.5G I installed myself. I'll be upgrading to something that sounds better than an iPod in the next year, so unfortunately I'll probably be taking a drastic hit in the storage space I carry (I'm basically just waiting to see if the Teclast X29 is superior to the T51, if I had more money I'd get an iPod Classic and Fostex HP-P1). There's not an option for me in a poll.

Well, last time I checked, a MiniDisc player nor a PCDP was an mp3 player, soooo...

I know, I know, nitpicking, but all for fun. It's cool to see that some people do use them still.
