How Much Money Have You Spend On Headphones & OTher Gear Since Joining Head-fi

I keep them because they have a personal value to me; they started me on this darn awful expensive journey!

Seriously though, they just aren't worth selling for a few measley dollars. They are too hard to drive. My laptop's jack can power the HD-650s with rarely any clipping/distortion. With the HD-495s, fuggetaboutit. Even with my Zero DAC, I get the same issue. I just use them if I'm too lazy/careless to listen to music at the time because they still sound great. Just not at high levels.

Not too bad...the only thing I had in my current rig prior to Head-Fi was my CD/DVD source and a couple of cables (Monster Interlink 400 & HGA Veritas coax). Head-Fi rocks...

500€ so far, with awaiting arrival of AT's esw9. After that, no more this year, or my wife will do hurtful things with scissors to my creditcard and myself..
