How much have you spent?

I've been through buy/sell cycle. I probably spent at least 4000 bucks after discovered Headwize and Headfi.com My current setup will be above 2K. Look back 4 years ago, I thought my Sony MDR-E888 and E484 w/ other portables are the pinacle of headphone enjoyment. I was death wrong. My C555ES SACDmods will arrive next week! Can't wait!

Got some Grado SR-60s. Love them.

Just got me Sennheiser HD280 Pros today. All I have to say is shame on you all! Now I have this burning desire to get $500 headphones and a $3000 amp. I already have enough hobbies....

Actually, I have yet to build an appreciation for the types of music that warrant good headphones. Norah Jones is probably as good as it gets in regards to hearing the instruments. The sond of the strings getting strumbed on the buitar, etc

For the most part, I listen to music like Sublime, etc. I do like Jazz, but do not own a single CD.

Anyways, $155 for now.

My first answer is: $24.99 plus $6.00 shipping = $30.99 and a complete steal at that!

I've yet only spent $300 on my system (including Beyerdynamic DT440's (selling these soon though and getting some Grado SR-225's), Koss PortaPro's, Chaintech AV-710, Toshiba SD-3960 (used), banana stand (craptacular-looking plastic WalMart one though), and a JMT-Built CHA47 (used)). My realistic top system will proabably end up being EMU 0404 or Modded Toshiba 3960 -> [Headphile or AudioGeek] IC -> Gilmore Lite (used) -> SR-225 Woody w/ Flats which will probably cost $750.

My second answer is:

'No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb, nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation. - FIFTH AMENDMENT [U.S. Constitution]
