I know this was done about a year ago (thanks, Search function!) in this thread and it was concluded that 97% of voters sleep 4-10 hours every night (or day), which tells us essentially nothing. I want to break that up and see the distribution of how many people sleep for how long within that interval. So how many hours of sleep do you average per day?

I'm clocking about 5 hours, from 1am - 6am. My alarm clock is N'Sync - Bye Bye Bye. Only the chorus.

*cringes*

PS. Can you believe we got 267 votes for that poll? Votes these days are pretty lame compared to that.

usually from like 4am - 1pm, so... 9 hours? Sometimes like 12am - 2 pm (14 hours?!) so it's really variable. Every once in a while like 8am - 12pm (4 hours).

So I'm in the 97% 4-10 hours category

I generally sleep between 6-8 hrs on weekdays though this may be changing as I will shift my work schedule to 10-7.. god bless companies that let you be flexible with when you work

The extra bonus besides fitting my natural proclivities is that I can avoid more of the traffic hrs and thus I hope to gain 20-30 minutes more a day!

Ive been sleeping about 10-11 hours a day for the past few months...its horrible...but even with this much sleep (oversleep) i wake up tired, and i simply cannot pull myself from bet. Whereas when i was younger, maybe 8 years ago, i could get my self up naturally at 6:30am...now anything before 11am will an effort just to get up.

Normally 6-7 hours, even in the weekends.

I'm getting around 7 to 8 hours on Monday and Wednesday nights and around 10+ hours for the rest of the week. I don't really go to my classes anymore this semester.

I guess graduating this semester and going from an average of 18~20 hours to 13 hour semester does that to ya.
