working towards 1, maybe a touch, 8gb and lossless files goes quick on the phone.

Use the Archos 605 to stream video from my laptop and desktop pc to my TV.
Use the Archos 5 and Philips PMC7230 for portable video viewing.
Use either Zune for audio in an Altec Lansing speaker dock in the kitchen.
Use the Rockboxed Sansa E260v2 for portable audio.
The rest are pretty much collecting dust.

Let's see, now....I have a iPod Classic 160 Gig, an iPhone 3Gs (16 Gig), an iPhone 2g (it drowned, but still works, the 3Gs replaced it in AT&T service), an iPod 5G, and an iRiver H140 (Rockboxed).

Portable CD players? Some Panasonic something or other, a Sony D-25S, and a Sony D-303.

But you didn't ask for them!
