How good can PCDP get?

Keep in mind that the D-25s uses a proprietary battery if you're planning on using this away from any outlets...I'm not sure if they're still in stock, but I think sony.com carries it.

Okay, I saw you post in the FS forum for a D-25s, so I was just making sure you knew. I think the D-25s would work great as a transportable source (seeing as you don't need a battery or antishock) so proceed as normal.

I try and avoid AC adapters if I can. Unless they are very good, and the older Sony ones are not, they introduce noise into the system. I prefer to use an external battery pack instead. Gets me the power I need without electrical noise.

If I have the PCDP I would use Radio Shack ac adapter.
