Unless I'm missing it, I cannot for the life of me see who on any given day or moment, see who the moderator is. This is because I would like to contact about a matter in a Hi-fi thread. I am use to, on other forums seeing the current mods listed for the purpose of contact if violation of forum policy may be occurring.

There is an option to email the admins under Contact Us. Or if you know the names of the moderators go to the bottom of the first page and look for their names. Maybe there is a way, and I just don't know it. But, that's how I would do it. :/

If there's a post you want to report, click on the little ! Icon under the user's name next to the on/offline symbol. You'll get a dialog box where you can send a report.

As for mod/admin assignments, I don't think there's an assigned schedule for duty. You can PM them at any time, though.

At the bottom of the main page, right above the "todays birthdays" and "blah blah blah user is online" stuff, there should be a "Head-Fi Staff" link; click; click on your desired admin/moderator, then pm. That usually works.

If it's for an offensive post or advertising, then on the left side of the post, where there are user details, under the username / title / avatar / profile, there will be a little circle on the left, and a !! to the right of that; the circle indicates the user's status, and the !! is "report htis post"
