How do you pronounce iBasso?

Title says it all, stupid question, I know, but it's been bugging me ever since I sent them a considerable  chunk of cash for my DX100...

That's the way I was originally inclined to pronounce it when I first saw it.
 
Not trying to argue, but do you have any source to back up this pronunciation?  Anything official from iBasso?

Well I am English, live in England and have a degree in English, I know the language pretty well.
 
Manufacturers can of course say it how they want to, but in English it would be a soft A, as in Lasso, or Lass or Mass
 
...and the other way ie BASEOO - just sounds silly

No offense, but iBasso is a Chinese company, it's quite possible that their name as it's typed in English is an anglicized version of their name in their native tongue.
 
As you mentioned, they can say it as they wish, I'm just trying to find out how THEY pronounce it.

Not entirely correct...at least Cantonese has the sound "so"

(iBasso is based in Shenzhen IIRC)
