I've pronounced it, and heard it pronounced, the following way in Australia for 20 odd years.

Den (as in Den-tist) on (as in on)

Here's a helpful pronunciation key from dictionary.com.

Replace **** with p_r_o_n (without the underscores) - the bad language filter struck

My gut tells me that in my head I've always thought of it as Dee Non. I even own a Denon receiver! But maybe the guy at the store didn't correct me, or was wrong himself.... Perhaps 7-8 years ago....

Perhaps not so much Deeee but surely not Duh or even Deh....

I would guess "deh-nohn".

The origins of the Denon name is Denki Onkyo. I would pronounce that "den-kee ohn-keeyo", but I'm not Japanese, so...

But then again, I did pronounce cache as cash-eh, as if it was French and suffixed with a t, for about a year.

well..as someone said, Grado is Italian, so "Grah-Du" would be better said
