Lately I've been wanting some House to add to my collection. I have some of the MOS Housexy mixes but I need some more! I'm going to Chicago in roughly a week and I'd like some House to take with me

Can I get some recommendations to put on my A818 for my flight and trip?

Thanks.

-> Stacey Pullen's "Fabric 14" or his DJ Kicks mix from a while ago
-> Richie Hawtin's "Decks, Efx and 909" or "DE9 Closer To The Edit"
-> Eddie Richards' bbc radio1 essential mix from 1995
-> Danny Tenaglia's "Global Underground 010: Athens" (truly a classic)
-> Darren Emerson's "Global Underground 015: Uruguay"
-> Laurent Garnier's old essential mixes from 1993, 1994 (classics!)
-> Anthony Pappa's "Balance 006" for some breaks/prog house
-> Andrew Weatherall's essential mixes from 1993 & 1996

I wonder if souledout looked for any House in Chicago? I bet one could find some House there.

When I think of House, Deep House always pops into mind:

Jaydee - Plastic Dreams 2003

...or one could go for the micro:

Pantha du Prince - The Bliss
YouTube

...disco rhythm tinges a-lot currently:

The Mole - As High as the Sky - an 08 release that I think is pretty snazzy.
Flexx Label

...and probably my favorite would be Acid House:

A Guy Called Gerald - Hot Lemonade

Try Om Records for some quality house. A lot of great artists there.
I totally recommend Mark Farina (jazzy, soulful house), JT Donaldson and DJ Heather (old-school Chicago house).

Listen to this guy; I don't know a single person that have/would not enjoy(ed) OM's signature funky house. Truly fun music.

Richie Hawtin is techno, not house. Top-notch DJ either way, though.

As far as my suggestions, I've always been a fan of the Plastic City catalog...still solid after one hundred releases. Check them out if you have the time.

Heard a good track from this album. FYI: The singer in this band is Antony, the androgynous guy who's on some Lou Reed records. I kinda like him better in this clubby incarnation. The track is called "Blind."
