No need to use code, it is automatic with the silver A818. I bought one, and now have to sell my A816 (black) and my Sansa e270 (6GB). But this new Sony DAP makes up for both. Someone is going to get a good deal on these players.

How can i buy A818 with reduction code? I can't buy it from Us site: amazon, sonystyle, i've tried, the cost in EU is so expensive, 179e for A818 8gb (near 300$), what a break heart !!!

Guess you can't do it. It's only on sale at Sonystyle. Just as an FYI, shipping and sales tax add $16 to the $119 cost. Still bearable. No free shipping.

Where exactly are you based? It's on Amazon.co.uk for £84 (about 106 Euros). If you're not in the UK, why not ask someone to get it for you and ship to wherever you are? I'd be happy to do it for you unless you can find someone in the US to do it (where it's cheaper to begin with!)

I looked on the Royal Mail site and to send a packet to France from the UK weighing 423gm (which covers the Sony weight) costs £7.48 (about 10 Euros?). That's with Airsure which provides tracking info and delivery confirmation. I guess you need to allow for Paypal fees and possible customs charges though, so it could end up the same price as getting your brother to ship from the US. If he got it for you, it would still cost less than $200 even with postage.
