Hi guys. Someone said to make tubes for HODVTEC as long you can . Like maximum length. I usually make 16 mm ,but i can do 20 mm . Is it really gives you something?

I cant find that post about that .
The longer tube on HOD can help reduce the first peak. Theres issues to address if you go that route. Because of the distance, the overall dB level for the sub is affected as well.

I use like 50mm on my bass drivers, works pretty well for subbass.

50mm?!? How would that work without pinching? 🤏😅😂
I used 0.5mm silicon tubes and curled them in, but I remember you'll need a louder driver for this as the tube will roll things off quite steeply (haven't built an iem for quite some time now)

Edit: I can post aliex info for those if that is allowed? Someone who knows the rules let me know. The long tube will also limit bass distortion to mostly 2nd order, which sounds warm and adds texture. Correct the phase with a parallel capacitor low pass as needed (could be 100+ uF) and have fun.

How to glue PTFE? Is it safe to use the specific glues/bondings to attach PTFE tube to BA's soundlet?

Don't use PTFE, they don't really glue to anything

So I'm looking to build another IEM using TWFK and CI drivers.
Since I've posted this earlier and we've established that this design was terrible, what would be the better way to build this circuit? Suggestions are welcomed.
