hey, this summer i will be working, therefore making a lot more money, and i will have around 550 for a pair of headphones and an amp. Since my main music of choice is more of the extreme metals, what would best suit me. I was thinking of maybe grado sr225's, and the porta corda arietta. I like the arietta because it has a dac, and i will be using this with my computer. Or would a firstone cute beyond with foobar be better? Thanks for all the suggestions.

the meier audio porta corda and the meier audio corda arietta are different amps

the porta corda has the optional USB DAC whereas the arietta is an amp only

don't have any opinion on either of the porta corda or firestone products, but both are highly regarded. just thought i'd clear up the confusion on the products you were looking at
