Hello guys,
It's my first post here on the forums,
I bought the DT 990 Premium 600ohm version about 2 weeks ago and I'd like to get a 'good' amp to crank them up a little bit. I was also wondering if I'd get more bass/clarity out of my Image S4 (in-ear) if I got a portable amp like the FiioE11 or the cmoyBB.
I'm willing to spend up to 200$ before tax/shipping (new or used) for both amps. If my S4 don't actually require an amp I'd prefer spending more on a better home amp. So far I was looking at the Schiit Magni / Fiio E09K but I was wondering if I could get something with more power / quality if I buy a used one. I'm simply looking for good price/performance/quality and I really don't know what to look for.
I was also looking at portable sound cards since I have an mITX mobo with no free PCI slot (already got my GTX 760 in it). What do you guys think about the Xonar U3?
