That guy did remind me of (an agreeably sloppy version of) Phil Keaggy. I noticed especially that the harmonics weren't very clean. A couple of Keaggy's older albums do have some pretty weird effects, but there are some great acoustic only albums, like Beyond Nature and Acoustic Sketches.

A little sloppy, but nevertheless, impressive stuff. I have to admit I thought that was pretty darn cool. Never actually seen something like that before.
