Larrivee is a nice guitar, it's irish I think? In the same vein as Santa Cruz or Taylor when it was smaller, and Gallagher, and Olsen - I call those kinds of companies "luthiers" lol.

Anyhow, nice choice to showcase the guitar. Love the slap bass and the insane wristbreaking strumming.

yeah I thought it was a little sloppy as well. Despite that I thought it was really cool. If I could play the guitar like that and make the same sound (except a little less sloppy) I'd be sound as a pound lol

Phil Keaggy likes weird effects too much for my liking. He does make some good stuff, though.

His rhythm is fine, he just didn't keep a very strict tempo so his subdivisions were hard to count (if you were trying to count.) Of course, you could say that his tempo fluctuations were perhaps involuntary...

He showed enormous technical skill and fluidity. However, the track wasn't coherent as a whole...although the individual "phrases" were nice individually, they really didn't mix together...
