Holo Audio Spring R2R DAC

Doesn't seem like it so far. This one is listed at $2600. Even for a spring 3 KTE without a preamp, that seems pretty good to me.

They're not something everyone would buy, but I would expect the used prices to go up if they're not taking orders from the US anymore. Just wait for the pain to really start to set in... assuming folks still have jobs and money to spend of course.

I know that Holo Audio is not shipping to the US for now. That's been going on for a few weeks. What I just noticed is that the Spring 3 DAC is no longer listed on their website. Wow! I wonder why? It could be just a webmaster error and the Spring page is not longer listed by mistake, but I'm wondering if they dropped the product because they want more people to purchase the May and that people that might be the target audience for the Spring and couldn't afford the May felt that the Cyan 2 was 'good enough'. I'm guessing that there is more margin in selling the Cyan 2 than selling the Spring 3. And if sales numbers for the Spring are down it's an expensive proposition, I would think, to keep the tooling and the parts available to produce the Spring. Sometimes it's just a business decision.

@mcraghead Holo Audio has a website? Care to link it? I didn't think they had a web presence beyond their dealers.

I'd expect when the next generation comes, it'll likely start with a new flagship -- just like the order in which the current May-Spring III - Cyan II generation was introduced.

I see it now, but it wasn't last night. Really, I'm not crazy. I didn't go into the website through the front door. When I started typing it auto completed based on the page visited most often. I think whatever it was it was from before they redid the website, because I got a 404. I was still able to get to their products list, but when I selected DACs only the Cyan 2 and the May showed. Really. Anyway, I just went through the website from my phone and they are all there, but if you filter for DACs it's just two. Now it's the Cyan 2 and the Spring 3.

i swear I'm not crazy. LOL!

Something on the site appears to be broken but I'm not sure exactly what.

It, the Spring 3, does not show up when you go to the "Shop" tab then "All Products" sub tab. If you search for the Spring, it comes up.

Tbf they canabilised it with Cyan 2 that is really on pair with it sonically with probably more dynamic tuning.

Anyone using any Audiomagic M1/M2 fuse with their holo Spring/May DAC? If so, can you please tell me which orientation should I install the fuse? Should the M be upside down or other way around? Any info would be helpful. I just installed m2 fuses in both my Bliss KTE and spring 3 KTE and would love to hear any impression.
