Give edge to May with features and smoothness to Cipher. Only way I could say more if I had one of the HeadTrip on hand.

Would you possibly be able to compare the sound performance for the May, and the sound performance for the Cipher, with utilising them together with your Dragon amplifier?
Don't have the Cipher anymore. The May was better on my WA33 because of balanced dac.

Today May KTE sold on AG within couple of hours. Dang! I thought Verite were fast...

Can anyone comment on how much warm up time it takes for the May to be optimal? I am considering the May but don't want to have to wait hours or keep it running 24/7 given how much power it consumes..
Id look at Wells Audio Cipher Tube dac. the May should really be kept on.

It takes at least an hour for it to sound good.

That's one of the beautiful things about the Rockna Wavelight, nearly no warmup until it sounds it's best

I actually wrote it wrong. The MAY sounds good immediately after switching on. After an hour it sounds fabulous 
imho, there should be no difference in warm up behaviour sound wise for both DACs…
But maybe I am wrong, the MAY gets to final case temp after one hour.
