Just today, I noticed that my GS-1000 has this short duration hissing sound that goes on and off from time to time when it is hooked up to any amp. and the thing is that there's no single going through, it's just hissing on it's own. weird...i even tried plugging my k701 in the same jack and there's no hissing...i'm wondering if it's a defect?

Denon AV receiver and the RA-1. I mean, I get this hissing sound from the RA-1 normally its a flat continuous hiss....but this time it's very different, it's like a static hiss....and it goes on and off

and this just occurred too, i have never had this problem.

It couldn't be the classic Grado problem where at hair gets into the grill and is touching the membrane ? Try blowing through the grill and see it cures it.
