I found that some of the audio file I'm listening to have hissing sound on the background of it, more noticeable on the silent part of the song, but complete silent after the song had finished. But not all of the file have this sound, most of them just give a complete silent on the silent part without hissing.

Actually, there is something you can do about it. It's called EQUALIZATION (EQ).

Rather than go into a lenghty dialog here about the workings here, Google audio stereo equalizer.

Many audiophiles poopoo thhis and some swear by it. I have a 31 band, third octave equalizer, which means that I have 31 sliders so I can boost/cut very specific frequencies.

The hiss you describe is inherint from older recording hardware and is around the 6KHz range.

You can find equalizers on Ebay and Amazon for good prices around $50.

But this is not a constant problem as stated by the original poster. You really don't want to eq for every song.
