Then apparently you haven't found joker's extensive set of reviews. All those you list, and 140 more as of today, are compared with a common set of criteria (and highly qualified ears). The table in Post #8 will save you some reading time.

but he doesnt compare it to each other...

Actually, that's exactly what he does do with similar IEMs.

Joker's SQ scores for your selections (listed highest SQ to lowest):

Hippo VB SQ = 8.0
NE-7M SQ = 6.0
V-Moda Vibe II SQ = 5.75
Sony XB40EX SQ = 4.75

I'd say the choice is obvious from that list.

If big bass is a high priority, you should add the Fischer Audio Eterna (SQ = 8.0, $68) to your list. Its often compared to the VB as excellent for that SQ preference. Lots of reviews and threads for both of them ("Search" is your friend). The NuForce NE700X (SQ = 7.75, $65) would be an improvement over the NE-7M. Also note the many new MEElec reviews that joker has added in the last few weeks.

Other than that, you should probably identify your budget and preferred types of music or sound signature to give anyone a decent chance at helping you.
