Alright for everyone stuck in the old school. There is new music coming out by these artists. KRS is still out put out i think 2 albums this year, Super Mccing, and Maximum (Somthing). It sure aint as good as his old stuff but that happens (Classic ft. Nas (rakim i think to. but dope track). But what im getting at is everyone has their prime time, look at Kool G Rap used to be the greatest ever now his new stuff is meh.

You have to give the new music a chance, yah they dont really say much like the Public Enemy and KRS and such, but its still dope music. I used to be stuck in the old school untill i started giving new music a chance.

Instead of listing old music recomendation that have been regurgatated hundreds of times on this site, lets reccomend some new artists and new music.

Asher Roth - new like 18 year old white boy from like minnisota. Check out his Greenhouse Effect Mixtape with DJ Drama & DJ Cannon. Good Tracks off it are Cartoon Chicks, and Cannon to name a couple, but amazing new artist with jokes lyrics

That new Paper Planes track is dope as hell, they got a couple mixes out with Trazz, Jim Jones, Young Jeezy, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Freeway, Young Chris, 50 Cent. Not all on same track but they all go on this beat. Thats another thing these banging songs with the allstar lineups that have been comin out are dope (if your in the mixtape scene you know what im talking about)

O Ya and for the Wayne fans u heard Damn I'm Cold with Bun B, bomb track

Recommend me some rap/hip-hop

Listen to some but not so much. Like Eminiem, Lupe had my first listen yesterday and it's good.

Also some Swedish: Adam Tensta, Lazee, Snook

Don't want any **** and ass, good lyrics. Thats what's interesting about rap/hip-hop I think, with a good beat in the background

Try youtube first. Doesn't really care what you're looking for. Youtube is a perfect place to try some of the music. If you like a particular artist, download some of it and if you really like it, buy it.
I think you should at least try these:
YouTube - Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M.
YouTube - 2pac Letter To The President
YouTube - Nas - Life's a Bitch
YouTube - Gimme the Loot - Biggie Smalls
YouTube - Ice Cube-Today Was A Good Day
YouTube - Eazy-E - Real Muthaphukkin G's - Uncensored

EDIT: Oh, and check out those Biggie freestyles on youtube. They're amazing. I don't even believe that's freestyle.. Man it's so good. :|

Wow. I thought my list kind of had it all. Well, all as in all different songs. You really didn't like any of those? Maybe this genre just isn't for you?
