I just learned of this internet stream for high quality 128k music (Jazz). You may want to check it out, it sounds pretty good:

Works in iTunes.

You know any other live streams that are higher quality? 128kb is a higher quality stream than most all other live streams that I know of.

Thanks for sharing. Not sure it qualifies as high quality though.

I just tried it on my iPhone and it works fine with a good wifi or 3g connection.

Great link, hadn't heard of it before.

Btw, this site has a free 192k stream. Nice!

Good stream - thanks!

You might also want to try KJAZZ 88.1, which is my local jazz station. If it wasn't for 88.1, I would have never become a jazz fan. Great station and I especially love their overnight program.

Jazz88 FM - The World's Premier Jazz Radio Station, NYC and NJ

Even though it is based in Newark, NJ, I have been listening to them since the '70's. Real Jazz. None of that smooth crap. The only real player in the game since WRVR went to classical, then country, then to "who knows what crap they're playing now".

I think out of all the streams I've listened to so far, the one I posted originally above sounds the best and plays the best music with the less talking/ads. I'm very impressed with it.

It's also not always Jazz. At night they play some pretty good college alternative.
