Sweet!  Can't wait to hear what you think of them, I even started a thread here:  http://www.head-fi.org/t/753577/mrz-tomahawk-music-maker-earbuds, asking if anyone knew anything about them.

Agreed...I remember being fascinated by them when I first saw them...that cable is pretty standard for most modded earbuds it seems, but I haven't seen those casings before, which bodes well for their contents I guess.

They kinda look like lil Grados. Awaiting impressions. Thanks.

They seem to copy the Sony MDRE828 bud frequency response. The Sony earbud is not that special and sounds like a $15 earbud from a big American box store. Not a bad sound, but I've heard better for $15.

Edit: I just discovered the model was E282, not my cheapie 828. E282 goes for hundereds of dollars now. Suddenly these buds seem much more attractive!

Sorry, what earbud are you talking about?

The last one mentioned, the MrZ - which look like mini-Grados. In the cross-post, there is a graph overlaying the MrZ with the MDRE282, which I confused for my cheapo 828.

Ah :)...so the Mr Z have potential then it seems...

So I have exactly $35 in eBay Gift Cards to spend.

I've had my eye on the Yuin PK3 for years, but have yet to pull the trigger.  Are they worth buying?

I am looking for something that small, but good sounding.

I've already owned the following:  AWEI ES10, Dasetn MC5, Dasetn PK3 DIY, Blox BE3, Dasetn PK2 DIY, Sony S2 Dasetn AP8, Tingo TG-38s and Blue Ever Blue 328R.

Models like the Tingo TG-38s and Blox BE3 seemed too big in some sort of design way to fit my ears.

Models like the AWEI ES10, Dasetn PK2/PK3 DIY and Sony S2 seem to fit my ears better.

Any Suggestions?  Like the mentioned Yuin PK3?

Not going to lie, PK3 is the only bud I have repurchased and always have a pair of on hand somewhere.

I'm also going to say that over the last year or so I've purchased about 10 new buds but they are all measured against my 10 year old PK3. I think they all come up short. At this point my regret is not spending the money on a PK2.

You're not missing much. I prefer my PK3 to the PK2.
