The AF62s are on-ear, whereas, the 10RBT is over ear.. Anyway, my bet is the 10RBT, blows them away.. However, without even auditioning them, I give the AF62s a lot of credit for including aptx. I have said all along, any bluetooth headphones coming out in this day and age, must have the aptx coding.

The AF62s are over-ear, as far as I can tell from their website and the promo shots.

To be clear, the AF62s were on-ear but the new 'Matrix2' model of the AF62s are over-ear. They also add 4.0 + apt-X and more battery life vs the original Matrix model.
 
Am really curious to see how these feel come Thursday. Will be heard to beat them if they're close to the MDR-10RBTs and are not as muddy on the bass given that they are $100 less.

How important is noise cancelling? Just read through this thread, as I am looking to get some over the ears. I thought I needed noise cancelling, but I honestly maybe get on a plane once a year.
 
Considering the Harmons for $97, but they don't have noise cancelling.
 
Will mainly be using for the gym, and playing poker in casino's, which can be loud sometimes.

The AF62's are actually over-ear (albeit just so). I've never personally experienced the 10RBT but I'd say the AF62 should hold its own sound-wise based on what I've read. Indeed this should be good, looking forward to your impressions of both @birarda.

Waiting to move a few headphones before I continue my quest for the perfect BT cans. I've pretty much exhausted all options BT-wise that I've started looking at non-BT cans so I can use the BlueAnt aptX adpater with it. In fact, I just picked up a V-moda XS to use in this configuraton. Love its small form factor but ultimately comfort and sound is not quite to my liking. The headband is conical shaped so kinda gives off an egghead look but above and beyond that the sides are what presses down on my head and the padding is simply not sufficient (for me). Otherwise, build quality is simply outstanding and the cable and case it comes with are really nice to boot.

How high is your budget for the perfect bluetooth headphones? Going through your reviews I noticed that you haven't considered many of the higher end models. I raised my budget after looking through many reviews though I'm still on the hunt.

IMO, for your needs, the Harman Kardon BT (refurbished) would be just the ticket.. $97 free shipping, that will leave you with more money for the poker..  Also, the new ones are going for $250.. I have found out, that the refurbished ones(the ones I have and what my coworkers who purchased them too),they come with everything the new have, including full warranty and 30 day return as the new ones, only thing doesn't have a retail box. They all look brand new too.
 
Also, although I read a couple comments to the contrary, the Harman Kardon BT works well for me in the gym. The small band(it comes with two bands) is a perfect fit for my head. That means the Harman Kardon BT doesn't slip when I do all kinds of moves in the gym. Even though I am in my middle 70s, I do great moves in the gym..

 
On the sit-up apparatus doing extreme sit-ups with a 45 lb plate the Sony MK2s slip off my head, also in doing extreme leg raises on the pull up bar, the Sony slip off. Not so with the Harman Kardon BT.. for me they are perfect for the gym, and perfect in price too.

n00b2, if you raised your budget for bluetooth headphones, you should "run" not "walk" to the Sony store to pick up a pair of MK2... 

 
On my loss, it seems like it does come under my homeowner's insurance, so I might get some recovery. Come to find out I had more in the van. I was to pick up my street motorcycle from the shop that day, and I had two of my motorcycle race leathers in the van too. So, they go on my insurance claim too.

Just ordered them. Thanks!! Plus I like these because they are lower profile. My casino doesn't allow electronic devices at the poker table, so I usually just wear a hoodie and use in-ears. I think I may be able to hide these as well.

I had a little bad luck a couple days ago. My car was stolen, and I just happened to have both sets of headphones in the car.. No matter, I reordered both of them very next day..
