Headphoneus Supremus
Agree, gets easy but first times not so much fun.A little bit, sure, but only at first. It's quite easy once you get the hang of it and have a thin tool to reattach the clips. I've swapped pads hundreds of times on HFM headphones and I barely have to think about it anymore.
Stock pads are meh at best IMO.Additionally, I do think it's worth the hassle on the 6se/v2 in particular. Some people really like the stock pads, but I think the stock pads are in the "okay, not great" category and they hold the headphone back a bit.
i disagree - changing pads (after picking after listening) AND rear screen to something much less restrictive makes a big difference, not as much as PEQ, but more than cables, fuzzor mod, and any other common mods. But, that being said, it's not life changing, make or break difference. I would still hang onto my pair if the stock pads were as good as it got. So if you don't want to mess with them, I totally get it.
