Just pulled the trigger on these. Anyone know the weight difference between the V2 and the HE6SE?

They are the same product, but for some reason Adorama keeps the old skew of a discounted item active. It can be very confusing.I just ordered. Was curious why there is two prices? 1799 and 699.

I've also just ordered a pair of these v2s.
Apparently according to their product information. The v1 is OPEN back and the v2 has CLOSED back. The cup colour is also blue with different headband compared to the v1 which has black colour cups. Unless they have put down the wrong information for the V2, otherwise I am very confused now.

I got mine v2 this afternoon. I think it's only a headband design change. The sound are generally the same compare to the v1 which I sold to my friend.
Are they closed back or open back?

Thanks much! They're not Audeze heavy, but wow that's heavy. I was expecting less weight than the He6se, so that's a bit disappointing. Hope they're at least more comfortable.HE6se 470g HE6 502g HE6seV2 505g
Thanks for the link. I bought myself one. It's the same headband for the even more expensive planar R10 they're now selling.
Use this link to get $699 pricing https://www.adorama.com/hmhe6sev2.html?emailPrice=T

I just received mine today and I have to say I am completely impressed. From memory, the sound difference with the original, which I sold a few years back, is minor at best. I think the low end is better than the original and the highs are slightly tamed. Nothing drastic and this is from memory so take that as you will.
They seem to be slightly easier to drive as well. Again a minor difference at most.
I do like the newer headband as it's more comfortable than the original. The Adorama deal, at $699, is a no brainer.

I think the added weight is from the headband and materials used. I like the new headband a lot better than one used on version 1 of this headphone. Thanks much! I wish they would have used the old HE560 headband. I wonder why they changed from that headband? Couldn't have been cost...I think the added weight is from the headband and materials used. I like the new headband a lot better than one used on version 1 of this headphone.
I do like that headband on my HEKse's and Susvara's. It weighs almost nothing and the comfort is unbelievable.I wish they would have used the old HE560 headband. I wonder why they changed from that headband? Couldn't have been cost...

I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the Adorama deal for this (for $699). It is odd their website says it is closed back. Surely that is a typo, right?
Regardless, my DAC/AMP right now is the Chord Mojo. Do you think that enough power to drive the HE6-SE well?
