I've been messing about with IEM's for around eight months now, and I want to give full size cans a try.  I just got a pair of HE400's.  
 
I've read a lot about their sound signature and based on that, I think I want to give the 650's a shot.  Coming from IEM's though, I really want to take advantage of the  (potential) increase in sound stage and imaging that a pair of full size, open back cans can give.  Can someone compare the presentation of the two?  Sound signature aside, I may just want the one with the biggest, most airy soundstage.
