Lucky for those newcomers getting the HE1000SE for 2000 usd now....
Most of us bought at 3500 usd...

Can't wait for Susvara to come down to 3200 usd in near future? Wish list.....I hope
A more efficient Susvara would be more welcome than a price cut but I'll take both in one headphone since they have been getting the lineup more efficient and dropping prices.

Hi all,
I own the Arya Stealth ... I was thinking about purchasing the He1000se now that is on sale. Do you know if sound-wise there are many differences? is a better choice the Arya organic? Do you know any other headphone that can complement the Arya Stealth between $1000-2000?
If you are keeping Arya, a HE-6 SE/V2, Focal Clear or HD800s. Heard good things about audaze MM500 but still looking for a chance to hear it myself. Any of the HEK is still somewhat close to Arya, you are not getting something completely different. Another Arya is even worse idea unless you already have 5+ pairs of 1K+ headphones.

Basically .... If I keep Arya ... Should I change brand to get a different sound? the ZMF what do you think?

If I get the He1000se ... the most logical is to sell the Arya?

If you want to stay Hifi Man, HE-6 SE/V2 is very very different. About ZMF, and most of their selections are above 2k, and I personally usually avoid the lowest end headphones from a brand.

Get He1000Se and sell Arya make sense. Unless you already heard HEK Stealth and like SE more, I would also try to listen to HEK Stealth, it's also $600 less than SE and I liked it better.

I have read here that the HEK stealth is an upgrade from the Arya Stealth and the He1000se the sound is a bit different

No, H1000 Stealth is a direct upgrade to HE1000 V2 as it's based on HE1000 V2 and not based on Arya. Also while being a direct upgrade to V2, the HEK Stealth sounds a bit more like SE. I wouldn't say Any of the three HEK is really close to Arya or any of them is completely different from Arya.

Do you know what are the differences between HEK Stealth and SE?

Thank you ... selling the arya stealth now I think that I will lose 50% of the price that I paid ... Are they so similar to sell the Arya Stealth and keep the SE?
Ask Hifiman what the upgrade price for you to go to the HE1000se trading in your Arya Stealth.

HEK stealth is HEK V2 with stealth magnets SE is susvara tech in an egg shape. Fastest egg driver.
Not true, Susvara has the gold trace tech from HE6, one reason why it's so hard to drive. While SE is easiest to drive of all HE1000

Physical difference looking from their website: V2 = Asymmetrical Non Stealth magnets, SE = Symmetrical Stealth magnets, Stealth = Asymmetrical Stealth magnets.

It is true.. it's using the similar tech (not the same driver). SE setup like the Susvara, V2 and Stealth set up asymmetrical.
