I'm linking the idea of the 400s... I was thinking of taking the plunge into the LCD2s but I like that HifiMan has a 30 day return period cause I don't know anyone around me that carries their headphones to try out. Looking forward to some reviews though..

Can't say the HE400 isn't intriguing though...and since I've been considering an HD600 or 650 recently I think I'll wait to buy until we hear some of those comparisons. 
 


 
 

it is lighter too. I will hear it at my mini meet and the price on this is very affordable  Have to give fang some credit for building an entire line at different price points so everyone can afford something. he is building his company.

So to blankdisc, it's totally different than the HE-4, so I guess that means it isn't a v shaped headphone. I actually WANT a V shaped Ortho, and I thought maybe the HE400 would be like the He4 but possibly better, but I guess the HE-4 is still the Ortho for me (I absolutely loved the HE-4).

Better than the HE-4 probably for him , but I have my doubts that everyone would say so. Guess it's apples to oranges. Like DT880 vs HD650.

Exactly! That is what I wanted to say. But I must say, its really hard to resist not to order the HE-400.
