I've got one in for review too. Just came in today so too early to comment much.

I've had mine for 2 months. There's a 70 page thread already. It's a side grade to Ananda. Smaller stage, less treble, more mid detail. Looks better than Ananda, but less comfortable. Bass is different, maybe boomier while Ananda is punchier? Not sure which I prefer honestly. I say all this with the caveat of using EQ in poweramp and running from Ifi idsd micro signature.

Really interesting HP for the price. Definitely curious if some of the things I'm hearing-got wind of, is true.
For the price, it's really good. Definitely better than the Amiron for example (though even thr Sundara outperforms the Amiron). I'd you're starting fresh and buying new, given that it's 100 less than Ananda, I'd buy it. However, given that I have both, I'm letting mine go. They are ultimately more similar than different.

Very interesting. Guess I wouldn't have expected the similarity with Ananda, despite the similar in looks. I've heard the Ananda though, had it on loan in the past, liked it though, for sure, overall. But thanks for the feedback.

They are both really good. They are different, as I mentioned above, but not THAT different. I think it will come down to preference. Do you like the wider stage and extra treble of the Ananda, or do you prefer the more intimate mid-detail of the XS?

As far as my own personal preference, I can't decide! Someone make me an offer for one or the other! Haha
