The sample music gave quite little in this respect. In the Hotel California remaster, it became too sharp in parts, but otherwise the trebles were pleasant. Regarding the stage, I find it really difficult to listen critically at trade shows, noises are everywhere. In any case, it seemed naturally presented to me, the V2 were much more artificial in the stage.
They have changed something more than the exterior for sure, since the impedance is 16ohm instead of 32ohm. Which, for it to sound more organic, seems a bit weird (considering it will harm the dampening factor, thus making even more controlled and dry).
I do love my Arya Stealth, but you know... since I don't like to EQ, with many rock recordings it can sound too hot in the treble.
I'm talking with the customer support to evaluate a trade in, but I don't know if it is available in Europe locally.
This is so true. Now I exclusively use Arya for anything that isn't rock/metal. For those styles I got myself LCD-2, and couldn't be happier about it, because they ROCK
